"THE FUNCTION OF THE EDUCATION COMPONENT - Creators are facing new challenges in the digital economy as technology changes faster than human behavior. As is true with all new technological changes, users must adapt and learn how to operate within the new technological environment.
That is why we know that our learning infrastructure will play a pivotal role in ensuring creators acquire the ability to adapt their ideas and creations to the new system.
Nevertheless, it is noted that the inherent nature of creators is not toward learning new skills. The desire to learn these new techniques/technologies is often placed at the bottom of their to-do-list. In fact, we have personally noticed that many times when just talking about using new technologies, eyes glaze over, excitement dwindles and brain-functions check-out!
Once again, since mass adoption of blockchain technology will not take place until the masses know how to use the technology for their benefit, we have developed a structure with the needs of the user (artistic creator) as the core foundational property.
By focusing on the culture and characteristics of the creative arts community, we address their specific issues in several different ways:
1. Digital only engagement facilitated by online connectivity - utilization of platforms such as YouTube, FB video, or some other platform like Moodle. Instruction is delivered through pre-recorded video. Support is delivered by creation and deployment of private groups, such as on LinkedIn or Facebook. Online guides and downloadable PDFs also help address issues related to the technology.
2. One-on-one or group training facilitated by an instructor via online connectivity – utilization of platforms such as Zoom, Google Meets, or Microsoft Teams. Whereas the instructor can be someone from the CBP team, a peer, or a learning partner. People tend to apply what they learn more effectively when they have a developmental relationship with someone who understands the context and is committed to helping them be successful. The one-on-one or group coaching promotes effective communication and instant feedback.
3. Expert, fee-based service - whereas a member of the CBP team will actually do the work for the creator/user. In other words, for a nominal fee, an "expert" will complete a guided step-by-step tour of the process for such things as digitizing the work; minting an NFT; creating a smart contract, etc. The expert will encourage and guide creators through their developmental journey by allowing the creator to simply observe utilization of the technology.
4. Community engagement and information sharing with like-minded creators - whereas participants interact, connect, and learn in a live workshop environment. This type of learning allows for gaining expert knowledge by networking with others. It reinforces confidence in the subject matter and adds the benefit of direct-to-creator support.
Overall, creators want to create. Not spend time trying to figure out how to use technology. When both sides of this equation are developed and balanced, we will see asset digitization gain adoption and flourish into a rich, global phenomenon the likes of which we can only imagine."
